Title: Tight Ends Llittle Black Book Post by: Snatiramas on July 10, 2006, 09:31:01 AM Now if you ave (h dropped for cockney effect) not read his blog this week and you play in Luton then I think you should really take the time ad have a look. I did and on recognizing myself in his little book of tells and realising he is partially correct I thought I would let him know a tell I have for sure. By the way for those who do not know me I am the bloke who talks a lot and the tell he has put up there has been reversed on a number of occasions for a good profit.
The one me good mate Mr. Prew did not put up there is the fact that I fart uncontrollably when bluffing. In fact all you have to do is wait and take a good smell around you after 30 seconds. Guaranteed not to fail. Title: Re: Tight Ends Llittle Black Book Post by: TightEnd on July 10, 2006, 10:34:45 AM Now I know you reverse the tell I suspect I might have a heck of time working it out!
We could always just amuse ourselves with alternative plot lines to film titles though...we really should ensure random seat draws keep us apart! Title: Re: Tight Ends Llittle Black Book Post by: yt on July 10, 2006, 01:45:57 PM Excellent article as well Tighty. One of the best I've read for ages.
I have a list of tells for the guys in my local clubs, it works very well too. It never fails to amaze me that the same tells happen week in week out. Good for us eh. Title: Re: Tight Ends Llittle Black Book Post by: TightEnd on July 10, 2006, 02:26:48 PM thanks yt
In my small games I believe keenly observing can offer an edge. In part this is because some players are there merely for the action, some are social players only....some do not have a personal or monetary incentive to improve/eliminate tells. It gets to be a minefield where players like snatiramas employ reverse tells: against the better players who they know are observing Against festival fields also, I find the whole "observing" thing a lot less relaible. No surprise there I suppose.
