River 5s Title: Re: Bad Fold? too tight preflop? Post by: boldie on July 11, 2006, 11:47:19 AM I don't see the point of this post really. You know you didn't play too tight. 4-7 offsuit pre-flop, contrary to popular belief, is not a great hand. (unless you have positionn and want to steal the blinds...then any old rubbish will do)
8 3 off suit is not a good hand either and ussually you have to fold this pre flop...and sometimes the flop comes out 883 and you would have had a full house....but who cares? a shitty hand in crap position equals a fold. Post by: Claw75 on July 11, 2006, 01:41:53 PM You should be raising at least 5xbb with this pre-flop, then reraising all in after that flop has been dealt. The runner runner will come if you have the faith.
