Title: Another Train thread (Euston - Walsall)
Post by: Claw75 on July 14, 2006, 01:01:28 PM
Planning on booking my tickets next couple of days once I know for definite that I'm not driving.  I'm looking at the 9.20 out of Euston on the Saturday, and the 12.42 out of Walsall on the Monday (£10.50 singles).  Anyone want to join me on the Blonde express?

I don't imagine it will be reserved seating going out of London that time of the morning Gatso.  Even if we do get reserved seats, we can always ignore them and find some together in another part of the train.

Hmmm - qjump won't let me book the tickets.  I'll try again later. If anyone else has any joy let me know.

www.traineline.com or www.thetrainline.com one of those will do it :)

cheers Heid - did you manage to book through thetraineline?  I tried there first and it was messing me around, so went to qjump (powered by trainline so essentially the same site), and got right to the bit where it was supposed to confirm the booking and it said it couldn't process it ???

me too - I'm hoping it's just a problem with the system rather than all the tickets being gone!

It's a train in 2 months time, i dont think you have to worry about a sellout!

tried again today to book the cheapo singles online, but no joy.  I gave them a ring instead and there are still £10.50 singles available for the trains mentioned above, but you might need to telephone to get them booked.

Could it have something to do with the "WANTED" posters hung up around most train stations across the UK and also within the offices of all the train ticket sellers?

I think the poster goes something along the lines of.........

"Under no circumstances sell tickets to this woman

She is a trouble causer when meeting up with fellow blondeites"

 :dontask:

It only takes about 10 mins in a taxi but there is no taxi rank at walsall station so make sure you get a cab number before you go.

It would appear from posts elsewhere that I have lost my travelling companions :(  No one else getting the train from London?
