Title: Tonight Big Brother eviction No. 7 Post by: Scottish Dave on July 14, 2006, 09:17:55 PM Here's a question? Aparently there are 3 people being voted out tonight, ive looked at the market on Betfair and there are 2 housemates that are clearly leaving:
Nikki - priced at 1.36 Ashlyene - priced at 3.9 the third is between Richard and susie. i was about to lump onto Ashlyene at that price, it blatant she's leaving and the crowd are screaming for here to go! however, then i looked at the rules and it says: Who will be the 7th Housemate voted off Big Brother 7? This market will be turned in play at the start of any scheduled eviction show with unmatched bets cancelled which makes me think, does this mean only the first person evicted will be paid out, ie if Nikki goes first, and ashlyene second i wont get paid??? But on the point - do you really think they'd give odds like that if they were going to pay out for multiple evictions? Nikki was favourite, followed by Aisleyne - Jenny has now come in as favourite but that doesn't give good enough odds to bet on. However this year I've just not got into it at all. The three or four times I've seen it there's been nothing to keep me hooked and it's totally passed me by this time. Just wondered if that was just me or is BB7 actually duller than previous the ones? They have to do something new every season to stop the idea going stale but because so much of this years has been about bringing in new people it has meant that the viewers haven't been able to pick up the same affinity with the group as normal. That's why it seems boring - because it's so much harder to care about what happens to any of them. |
