What the hell are you doing up so early?  I  just got back from Notts (being a professional) thought I'd check on Peter as the rumours were he was in the last 40.  Now, I've tried to shut down twice but I cant quite manage going upstairs.  This is sooo exciting!!

p.s this has absolutely NOTHING to do with any events I might play in if he cashes big!! NO NOT at all, ABSOLUTELY NOT  :D :D :D

will they play down to 9 then final tomorrow ?

That is a very good question.  It is a 3 day event, with today's action being Day 2.  So with my powers of deduction I assume the final 9 will be tomorrow and therefore Day 3  :D :D

I am guessing though  ;D

My Uncle just rang me before he sets off for his final which starts in just under an hour and a half!!  He is in fantastic spirits and is looking forward to getting that first bracelet win.  He has the "passion back" he tells me and is raring to go.   This is soooooooooo exciting, I have never spoke to anyone before on the day they win their first bracelet!!

Hand #39 - Peter Costa raises from the small blind and Scott Clements calls from the big blind.  The flop comes J72, Costa bets the $8,000 and Clements calls.  The turn is the 10, Costa bets the $16,000 and Clements calls again.  The river is the J and Costa bets out once more.  Clements calls and shows AJ for trip jacks.  Costa states that he though Clements was playing for a low and turns over A2 for a pair of dueces.  Clements rakes a big pot.

Costa is left with only around $30,000.

ooppps

The ride is over i'm afraid.

Peter Costa Eliminated 7th ($38,861)
Hand #41 - With four players in the pot and a flop of 752, Martin Corpuz bets the $8,000 with calls from Peter Costa and Thor Hansen.  Brent Carter folds and the turn is the 4.  Hansen bets the $16,000 and Corpuz calls.  Costa calls all in for his last $7,000 and the river is the J.  Hansen bets the $16,000 and Corpuz makes the call.  Hansen shows A6 for the nut flush and Corpuz shows A-3 for the nut low.  Costa shows a queen high flush with no low as he mucks his cards.  Peter Costa has been eliminated in 7th place.

Gutted for him, but very proud also.  Not long now till the next final x
