How about running a Blonde fantasy football league ? I dont mind doing it if we get enough interest, i will do it the same way as the sun newspaper does theirs and just work peoples scores out accordingly, maybe the Blonde shop could supply the prizes (nudge nudge wink wink ) Let me know if your interested. We sure can only problem is it's £5 a player.

The bonuses are that it is totally automated, so no calculations for anyone.

I believe that even if you pick your team now on fantasypremierleague you can make unlimited transfers to your team up until season actually starts.

Whats it going to be then ? The Sun Or the other one ??? Can we put it to a vote so it's sorted out ??

premier league one is best for the private mini league I think.

I'd rather the premier league one too.  I have a couple of other leagues that I join that use that one so I'd only need one team.

I've been playing this for the last 3 years - its excellent.  The Metro World Cup game we played was very similar to this and worked well.

www.fantasyleague.com is the best we use it at work

Its a tenner and its all done online as well as being entered into the main overall season you can set up a friends and enemies league and then to join it you just enter the pin it costs no extra for the friends and enemies leaague you just need a chairman and the pin number. Then all the work is done for you there is even a forum on each friends and enemies league for a bit of banter

the premiership one does all that without the tenner

Whats the script with transfers after the season has started?

Are you allowed a certain amount per week or are there transfer windows?

Each transfer costs like 2 points when the season starts i believe and max of 10 till xmass.

Quickly noted that Blackburn had two games with clean sheet possibilities and therefore stuck their inspirational captain Lucas Neill into my team. There was something nagging at the back of my mind as I did this but time was short so I went ahead anyway.  :dontask:

Soon as the deadline passed, of course, all the Neill transfer saga suddenly lit up crystal clear in my mind!  Too late....net result my inspirational transfer scored nil points and to top it all I had made him captain too !!   ;oopsy;

At least the auto sub gave me 7pts which was something although don't even mention the 16pt guy that I had also left on the bench!    ;frustrated;

my season has turned around. after a terrible start I have an outside chance of challenging for the top

A few changes in recent weeks have seen a bit of a 4 horse race develop going into the last round of games.  Sherwood's Superstars have a clear advantage but its not beyond the realms of possibility for one of the other teams to make up the difference.

there's a crlea jump from those of us battling for 5th to the top 4. I was in bottom 5 in august and got right near the battle from the top but never quite got there.

Just checked the entire thread ... and although prizes were mentioned, nothing was actually stated.... so the winner can have a blonde poker T-Shirt, and the rest can have a round of applause :)

Final table.  The only move of significance of the day was me, dropping like a stone to 4th place.
