Title: Good Luck Scotland Post by: Tinsel Town on July 17, 2006, 10:27:55 PM Good luck to Scotland in the UEFA under 19s finals starting tomorrow in Poland.
They're in a tough group with Spain, Portugal and Turkey but they finished in front of holders France in qualification so there is hope. First up are Portugal tomorrow,with Spain on Thursday (live on Eurosport). Top two in the group go through obviously, but a third place finish sees them qualify for the World cup in Canada next year! At todays final group matches Scotland defeated Turkey 3-2. This meant that Portugal had to beat Spain. However they didn't and Scotland are in Wednesdays semi final Fantastic. From what I've heard Spain are on a different level from every other team in the comp, that combined with the 40 degree heat & Scotlands 2 forwards missing will make Scotland huge underdogs. I'm afraid best bet's meeting their bus & battering them before they get in the ground ;) But well done the weans & good luck - 90 mins to give it a hell of a go!!!
