Title: WOODS,FALDO AND THE SUMO
Post by: smithy69 on July 20, 2006, 02:42:51 PM
As discussed on the other thread I dont fancy woods today in his 3 ball. I have laid him at 1.39 for a win of 200, a liability of 78!!!

fingers crossed

At 5ft 6ins and only 157lbs i dont think the description of "Sumo" is really an apt one!!

lol oops :)
I'm obviously not the best live updater :D

Faldo and Woods don't appear to be sulking with each other.  They aren't talking much but it doesn't appear hostile.

That is great news the squirrel monkey has been found safe and well.  I was worried about him.

2 things.

Smithy what is up with your caps button, and why can't you check the scores yourself!

3 things flushy

1) I am at work and my system at work has to be used with cap locks on, sometimes I forget to switch back - sorry if that offends you

2) My computer system at work is so dreadfully slow it stayed on the same hole, for 1 player for 2 hours. if I could check I would mate

3)To be honest dont think you need to make abrupt comments like that to be fair, and I really don't appreciate the tone of your comment

Was just curious, no offence intended. Just makes posts harder to read when they are all in caps.

Ok, I wonder if somebody could answer this for me.  I know that certain players get automatic entry to the Open and some have to qualify.  But others such as Seve Ballesteros and Palmer at the US open must be wild cards I presume?

Wouldn't it be better to give the wild card to the runner up in the qualifiers?

Previous winners of the event get a life exemption from qualifying.

While there was probably no value in backing woods i would certainly never back against him...

He is constantly being critised for being out of form, inaccurate of the tee etc etc... but the man is still by far the best in the world on ANY type of course.
