Title: They say it comes in threes Post by: Trace on July 22, 2006, 03:25:33 PM I'm just dreading number 3.
Ive been in A&E with my eldest for four hours - he's broken his little finger and suspected wrist. So he's plastered up now for 2 weeks initially. They will do a bone scan in 2 weeks to see if his scaphoid is broke. I phoned my Dad to tell him I'm off to A&E and he informs me that my Uncle died this morning. He was out with my cousin, not drinking cos he hadn't been feeling 100%, bent over to untie his boot laces and that was it - GONE! I've never met anyone like my Uncle Harry ever, salt of the earth, but not one to mess with. I'm gonna miss him. The bad luck in threes thing is nonsense, it stops at two.

His badly burnt the top of his bum / lower back !! , needless to say he will do it again one day lol.
