Title: Milburn
Post by: action man on July 22, 2006, 07:10:36 PM
me and my mate went to see milburn's gig at the leadmill in sheffield last night, i had not heard any of their material until the gig. There were absolutely brilliant, they are touted as the next arctic monkeys, as they too are from sheffield, but i think these guys are on par if not better. Anyone on limewire can download quite a few tracks.

 Cheshire cat smile

 Storm in a teacup

what you could have and rudiments are my favs... check em out if you haven't already, i think they are a cross between the kooks and the arctic monkeys

im afraid to say i dont keep up with any music these days. just listen to the ones ive already got.  i think i might look for a gig soon. maybe a reggae band. i saw spearhead years ago. a mixture between reggae and rap. one of the best gigs ive been too.

if anyone hears of a good reggae band coming to glasgow, let me know   :)up

im in to all sorts of music, i love live music, getting into my jazz music at the moment, can go from led zeppelin to frank sinatra to oasis to bruce springstean in 4 tracks on my i-tunes. These days i prefer going to a local gig then having a few beers round town than clubbing!!

yes i think you have got me in the mood for a gig. i better start looking around for one. i mostly dance at gigs so i can get the best of both worlds in the one venue :)
