Title: What a day!
Post by: Acidmouse on July 27, 2006, 03:05:10 PM
Wake up, pop to hospital to find out my cancer test results. Negative :) 4 months of fearing I had bowel cancer at 30 years of age was not the most fun I have ever had. Very happy.

Then in the afternoon I get told I am being made redundent becasue of the government change in college education funding.

Least I am healthy, very happy tbh, now just need to look for a job lol.

I went through that wait as well at 29. Of course it was negative and they reckon it's IBS. I reckon it hurts like hell most days.

Good news mate, you can start living again. The job means nothing so dont worry

Had a similar scare myself... well, not similar really as cancer is worse. but anyway, it was polycystic kidneys which can be nasty when u get older, my mum has them and its a 1 in 4 chance that the children will get them. . I waited about 3 months for the tests to come through, all clear.

But my brother didnt get the all clear - he has them - and now he cant get life insurance to cover the mortgage on the house hes just bought. :(

Great news on the health front.
I am sure that you will also be sorted on the job front sooner rather than later.

Sit back, enjoy your health, the sunshine and your poker.
