Title: WSOP / House of Cards / finally the MAIN EVENT Post by: wsopin07 on July 28, 2006, 04:07:04 PM All I can say is ,wow, have things changed in a year! Last year came to the WSOP as a "rookie" and I was just happy hanging w/ guys like DC and playing poker 14 hours a day. This year I defended a title, we are making a TV show, and I cant wait for the main event because for some reason I think I have a great chance at going far in this event.
Last night I saw YOYO and Cupcake for a beer at the crypto party and today I am going to take it easy and do some radio stuff for Bluff magazine. My results have not been the best, I am down some big $$$$, but at the end of the day it has been a great WSOP. Jen and Snoop made it by the mansion the other night, you will not find 2 more dedicated people and I am glad I know them both. I heard from YOYO that Tikay and Chilli are not making it over, that really sucks. Good luck to all the blondites in the main event, I just hope you are not on my table because a I plan to be the last "runner" standing. On a final not here is a great 7d 4s story from the other day: We started w/ 5K in chips at the Bellagio 1K event on Tuesday w/ about 350 players. I have about 14k in chips and there is only 1 player that has me covered, I am in great form as I have knocked out 2 players and the verbal is flowing when this hand comes up. Blinds are 100/200 and I raise to 825 UTG w/ 4s 7h, i get 3 callers including the BB who has me covered by about 5k. Flop of Kd 7d 2c, I bet 3k and it folds to the BB (he has been staring at me the entire hand?) who raises me 4K. I think for about 30 seconds and the BUTT HEAD in seat 1 puts me on the clock. 1ST TIME I HAVE EVER BEEN ON THE CLOCK!!!! I tell him to kiss my ass and then I move all in w/ 10 seconds on the count down! The BB then gets put on the clock, he talks, thinks, talks, thinks and then he FOLDS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WOW, i was worried but the 7d 4h does it again, the BB only had to call 3,400 more and he laid it down! About 30 minutes later I busted the seat one clock idiot w/ 9c 8c all in preflop, he had Aspades Ahrt!
