Title: "He's a fish"
Post by: TightEnd on August 19, 2005, 03:42:50 PM
With thanks to "Xpressman" on another forum

A six night a week regular at Luton was playing in the £750 at Luton recently. ElBlondie has attacked his blind. Luton regular flat calls and on the flop hits two pairs.

He checks, Dave bets and Lutonian flat calls

On the river Lutonian hits a full house, but checks as he is keen to see what his opponent is playing. Dave checks and on the showdown just has a king high

Luton chap is unaware of who Dave was and turns round and calls Dave "a fish".

"How dare you raise my big blind?"

As the table began to roar with laughter, the regular shrugs his shoulders and said

" I didn't know who he was"

"and he's still a fish" !!!!!!

Hehe, lovely story! I bet Dave just smiled........ Coulda been worse - DC could of bet out on the end!

Mybe he misread his hand. I've heard there's a lot of that going round.....

I am seeing him tonight at Sheffield, will try calling him a fish, & see what he says.......
