BigArmo upto 45000 at dinner break

I've got $35k at the dinner break blinds are going to be 500/1000 ante 100 when we go back. I think approx 750 left of todays field. Reached a high point of $42k earlier in the day whilst very briefly playing with Phil Ivey but that table broke shortly after he joined us, so he dodged a bullet there!!
Started the day with 10.5k so im reasonably happy but looking for a double through in the next 3 levels, they are playing 3 more levels or until we get to 500 left so we will be pretty close to the money should i make it to the end of the day.

Armo just texted me and said the same thing - but surely you have to play the three levels regardless?

What happens if you get down to the alloted 500 during level 11 (the 5th level today) but then tomorrow they still have 1000 players by the time they get to the end of the 11th level. If they go to level 12 then the tournament will be messed up when they start day 3

It is whichever comes first 500 players left or 3 levels complete. I think 900 get paid and Friday is the bubble day so they cant let it go below 500. I forecast it will slow down a fair bit in the last 3 levels and we may come back with about 550 of todays players. The blind to average stack ratio is getting bigger all the time as the structure is so slow, the dropouts must therefore slow down at some point.

32,000 at dinner. I raise in mid position with 99. It's folded to Allen Cunningham in the BB who has lots. He raises enough to commit himself to the pot. I just know I have the best hand so call instantly. He turns over KQ. Queens on flop, turn and river make it all quite emphatic.

If I win that hand I'm in great shape. I had a pretty poor day card wise. My KK took out a short stack early, and I made a good call with 22 against a shorty with QJ, but never hit a flop all day. I'm happy with how I played and don't really feel disappointed.

BigArmo had a bad level during level 10 and is down to 25000 - apparently they are playing only 1 hour of todays 5th level (level 11)

Play has finished and BigArmo ended the day with 26000. Low chips but who knows, with an early double up on day 3 friday and the cash could easily be a possibility!! :)

kp nuts  finishes the day on 106 k 

Mickey Wernick was eliminated with 10 mins to go.  He had been short stacked since the dinner break and eventually put his last 10k in with QJ suited. David Pham called with pocket nines and that was that.

I had a productive last couple of levels and go back with 85,800 on day 3 we got down to about 560 so should be in the region of 1100 at the start of day 3. 873 get paid and current average is about 75k.
