Title: Proper Football Starts on Satruday
Post by: Mr F on August 03, 2006, 03:32:41 PM
So the proper football league starts on Saturday, I'm sure for Wycombe it will be another season of high expectations followed by a gradual downfall into complete League Two mediocrity.

We start at home to Wrexham.  Hoping for a good start.

Anyone else got a game this weekend?

Leeds vs Norwich. Surly a prem. game!?

I dont expect more then 20,000 there for this and the grumbles around Leeds is that if we dont start well Blackwell will be out before Xmass..

Wish I could get excited about lower league football.

What do you think of Chris Palmer Rob?  We bought him in the close season.  He looked good against Watford but that's all I've seen of him.

Nottingham Forest will be champions of League One this year, not only a fan's view but realistically this time we should be going up with the squad we have.  Excellent start to the season too!

How long is Tyson out for DT?  Do you think he'll be missed or will Holt be a decent replacement?

We've had an ok start so far, draw at home and an away win at Bristol Rovers, bring on Notts County on Saturday!

Tyson's out for 4 months though it looks like Forest might be signing Agogo?

What a waste of time and money. Journey was rubbish, football was rubbish and we lost. Now tired and grumpy.

Seems you were right, 4 points out of the first two matches then a loss against Notts County, of all teams!

You are not wrong. trouble is the way the fixtures are going I am going to struggle to get to many of the early home games, although I have ana way ticket for Chelsea next Sunday.
Can't see us getting much out of our first 3 games, so pressure could be on, but don't see Psycho under pressure for a while.
