Title: Would you call this? Pre flop analysis.

1. Are people happy about my flat call initially?
2. Would you/should you call the all in?

What would you have bet initially? And if this initial bet had been re-raised all in, would you have called it?

How much? I'd normally raise 1800-2400 here but was trying to mix it up a bit after two similar raises in the last fifteen or so hands.. This is an area of my game I'm weak with, though; I'd be interested to know what, given the chip counts, a suitable raise would be.

I folded and have no idea what he held. I think that live this would have been the clearly correct move. However, I've seen so many online overplay AJ A10 and downwards which is why I thought I'd post this. Ta.

2 It is possible that he is trying to kill pot off on the basis that there have been no raisers, so you may well be right that your are ahead. However, bit of a risk to take. I am trying to Be the raiser and not the caller and touch wood it seems to be working.
