It was one of my favourite songs, and one that i have been known to perform during drunken Karaoke sessions ... Common People by the legend that is Jarvis Cocker & Pulp. This version however was "performed" by Captain Kirk himself William Shatner!!! it was so bloody awful it was good ... and when Joe Jackson starts belting out the singing bit (shatner just talks the lyrics) I found myself actually liking it ... If you get a chance , listen to it... it isnt as painful as it sounds. Any youtube links etc. gratefully accepted.
