Title: £1 investment in a scratchcard
Post by: johnlarsson on August 11, 2006, 04:36:03 PM
I went to the garage at lunchtime, got my lunch etc. i had pound left over from my 5iver.

so i got a sctrach card. I never by scratchcards.  I won £2 so i got a £2 one.

I won £8 so I got 4 £2 ones.

I won £28 quid so I got another 4 £2 ones and kept the £20 quid.   I won £78 pounds on other 4.

I now have £98 quid in my pocket.

I think i should stop now.

lol nice one.

At work a while back, we had a 'spare' £160 so we bought 160 scratch cards.  That turned into just over $200, changed them up for more cards and so on.  It went slowly down hill from there and we lost the lot but it was great fun for a couple of hours :D

yeah 'spare'

An underthecounter cash job type thingy  -  I can say no more ;) It wasn't my spare money anyway, I was just along for the ride.  I would have got a cut of the big cash had we won though.

ok heres my scratchcard story listen up.

my secondary school had two schools, year 7 and 8 was lower woolwich and the other years were the upper school.

I had to pay for my own own lunch, this was considered as being posh in my school and i used to get an extra pound for sweets, whatever, every day which i used to spend on a scratch card in the garage every day, there was the same old boy in there every day.

one of my pals whos really safe noe used to be a right nuisence.

4 of us are walking up the rd ahter i bought the card and i scratched it off and it showed 3 £40, SWEET!!!!!!!!!!!!

but my mate coming up with ideads what to do with it, this and that.

anyway we quickly styled it and told him you need FOUR on this card ::)

He swollowed it and went to class and we all run back down to the garage.

the guy wouldnt pay me out!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! he said i was underage!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

LOL any way i said i'll get my dad to come and get back all the money ive spent on cards in the past three months and my pals were jumping in and he paid us.

we went to plumptead manor scholl, got my mates girlfreind and her mates and went out for the day(as i remember racing trollys down the steep hill in the garage drinking 20/20).

on a non relted subject my dad gave me £50 when he was in the betting shop abd i came down to meet him in my lunch break to buy a pair of classics.

I went straught in sega zone and lost it all on the roller coaster fruit machine, my dad was NOT happy.

he bowled in sga zone and however got the manager to give him the dough back.
