Title: Re: Who needs brand new poker tables when.......... Post by: Rod Paradise on August 14, 2006, 09:25:12 AM Gun toting elves?....cheers Mikky, made me CHUCKLE Billy - you want to see these fantasy roleplayers in action - it's hillarious.... Rubber swords and axes are bad enough, but to see them in a public park with the ubergeeky one who plays the wizzard throwing a handful of sand and glitter at another player & screaming "That's a petrification spell - you're a statue for 5 minutes!!" is hilarious in an "I'm fecking embarrassed for you" way. We did medieval archery in the same park & always wanted to launch a volley of arrows at them - just to show them what real weapons are like. Title: Re: Who needs brand new poker tables when.......... Post by: BrumBilly on August 14, 2006, 11:00:22 AM lolol...
Surreal! Can't imagine anything like that going on in a park by me. I think dodging arrows would be the least of their worries. The kids round here carry shooters and ride those silly mini motor bikes. Funny how 'wanna-be' gangstas round here look like something... 'straight out of a comic book' (Name the film this quote comes from). Will :) Title: Re: Who needs brand new poker tables when.......... Post by: Rod Paradise on August 14, 2006, 11:35:34 AM Quote was from Enter the Dragon. 8)
The park I'm talking about is a country park a few miles outside Glasgow - too much work for most Neds to get there, so it's still quite nice. :) Title: Re: Who needs brand new poker tables when.......... Post by: Rod Paradise on August 15, 2006, 11:39:12 AM A ned is a Scottish Chav. Tracksuit, tucked into white sports socks, electrocuted skunk hairdo, gold sovvy rings, baseball cap & usually a bottle of Buckfast in hand. Many seen walking a Staffordshire terrier called Tyson.
Quote quiz in return..... "I have come here to chew bubblegum and kick ass. And I'm all out of bubblegum." Title: Re: Who needs brand new poker tables when.......... Post by: BrumBilly on August 15, 2006, 11:44:23 AM Cheers for the definition. LOL...
