Title: Cash with Pab again? Post by: The Baron on August 15, 2006, 09:28:18 PM Would people like to see this more and maybe have some hand analysis afterwards for review?
Title: Re: Cash with Pab again? Post by: I, Zimbra on August 15, 2006, 09:30:58 PM Absolutely, I'm up for that.

Just wanted to see if it would get any interest. Apologies for the lack of notice. Next time it will be made well known in advance. Title: Re: Cash with Pab again? Post by: NoflopsHomer on August 15, 2006, 09:41:51 PM I'll have to play through BlueSq tonight, I still think a lower limit table would be more beneficial.
Title: Re: Cash with Pab again? Post by: Robert HM on August 15, 2006, 09:43:38 PM yes please, I need educating

Title: Re: Cash with Pab again? Post by: sharpy on August 15, 2006, 09:52:37 PM I'll be up for this..Last night managed to get on a 10c/20c table with Pab but with a table full of non blondes it didn't quite seem to work. Perhaps we could gang up on the forum at a set time before picking an empty table to jump on.Then we could have Analysis aplenty afterwards. Plus a big up to Pab for doing this, the man is a gentleman(only if he doesn't stack me that is :D) Title: Re: Cash with Pab again? Post by: I, Zimbra on August 15, 2006, 10:21:38 PM Those small stakes tables fill up quick; this is why the private thing was brought up.
However - we could jury rig a private table if we agree to a table-list on the forum first, a time, the name of an empty table and (dare I say it?) a seating plan...(i.e. allocated seat numbers) that way everyone would know when, where and in which seat and we could mob the thing. It would take some organisation, but - hey - we have an entire thread in which to plan this here. -- I said before, I would like to play, but like Homer if it's on at around this time I will probably have to join via BSQ rather than Blonde, because of my current position in their Classic League... ::) Title: Re: Cash with Pab again? Post by: The Baron on August 16, 2006, 02:58:21 AM I think it may work best 6 handed so when someone leaves there is another blonde on the list, ready to take their place so we keep it totally blonde.
For those who werent there Pab sat at 10/20c upwards to 1/2, all NL tables. Title: Re: Cash with Pab again? Title: Re: Cash with Pab again? Post by: LeKnave on August 16, 2006, 06:04:32 AM I missed it aswell last time and would love to play with pab.
Its a great idea and we should be able to learn a lot and have fun in the process :D Well, we say that now, we'll see after he stacks the lot of us ;) Title: Re: Cash with Pab again? Post by: Pab on August 16, 2006, 10:08:10 AM Will be talking to baron and decide the best way to go about organising this again

Snoops. In order for that to happen, it would have to occur at a time when I'm not in a BSQ-exclusive tourney. Now, I understand that BSQ and Blonde are technically rivals now, they operate on the same network. However, there is a lot of cross-pollination between the two; for example, I regularly see Blondeites like tikay or Red Dog on the BSQ Grosvenor Feeders which cannot be played on Blonde. Similarly, I am the leader in the BSQ Classic league at the moment and considering the prize thats at stake (a seat at a £1000 freeroll), I cannot really justify skipping a qualifying tournament to play small stakes cash on Blonde Poker. If I could load up both sites at once and play the BSQ tourney on one and the cash game on the other, I would. But as I understand it, that is against the rules and would lead to both my accounts being frozen and forcibly closed, which needless to say, I don't want to happen. I am sorry if this angers anyone connected with Blonde, perhaps it's better then that I skip this idea completely. Title: Re: Cash with Pab again? Post by: Colchester Kev on August 16, 2006, 09:20:39 PM Zim, I think snoppy the donk doesnt understand the fact that you cant have blonde and blue square both open at the same time ..... he is young, but he can still learn.
And you never know, he might actually play a few comps on blonde himself when the next league starts :) Title: Re: Cash with Pab again? Post by: I, Zimbra on August 17, 2006, 12:18:24 AM weep... :(
(My K-K was killed by Chipper's 9-9 tonight, but that's the first real beat I've had in this league, and last Wednesday I did inflict a few.) 1. Zimbra 52 2. RioRodent 38 3. Unohue 37 4. ricky27 33 5. bnisill 32 6. Linstan 29 6. pulcinella 29 7. alfiesdad 27 (7 events remain.) [At least, I think that's sort of how the league stands... will have to wait for official confirmation from the people tomorrow] |
