Title: texas hold'em online as a 'house game' Post by: uncle john on August 24, 2005, 01:28:24 PM I have been a Texas Hold'Em poker player both as a competition and cash game for about 20 years.
A few years ago in Malta at the Dragonara Casino I came across a Live House game version where the players played against the dealer (or House) call Casino Hold?em Poker. It was an entertaining game and thank goodness I made some spending money (not a lot) after an hour's play. Visiting Holland recently - Uttrecht - I saw the same game in action (Holland Casino) though I have yet to see it in the UK. I asked one of the Managers about the game and was told that it was invented by Stephen Au-Yeung - he who also invented David Devilfish Ulliot and Marcel Dutch Flying Fox Luske. By accident - when surfing the Web for various Poker Links - I came across the same game with identical rules on the Stan James web site "LINK REMOVED BY IRONSIDE" Try the game for an hour or so - I found the game more relaxing than internet competition (or on-line cash games) because I could stop whenever I chose. Does anyone know when this game Casino Hold?em Poker Texas Hold'em poker against the dealer will reach the UK?
