You assume that "Money is the root of all problems", when in fact it is "Money is the root of all evil". So women = evil. Title: Re: Woman (non poker) Post by: The Wall on August 24, 2005, 02:03:24 PM Like your style mikky ;D

Title: Re: Woman (non poker) Post by: mikkyT on August 24, 2005, 04:51:54 PM Is it just me or is something missing from this post? Women? Wait for the image to load..... or read this paraphrased version: To find a woman you need time and money So, women = time X money Time IS money Therefore, women = money X money Or women = money ^ 2 (where ^ 2 is squared for you non geeks) Money is the root of all problems, So, money = √problems Therefore, women = ( women = problems Title: Re: Woman (non poker) Post by: Robert HM on August 24, 2005, 04:55:51 PM To find a woman you need time and money So, women = time X money Surely it should be women = time + money Title: Re: Woman (non poker) Post by: mikkyT on August 24, 2005, 04:57:56 PM To find a woman you need time and money So, women = time X money Surely it should be women = time + money No because 1) then this wouldn't work, and 2) because the amount of money you spend on a girl is proportional to the amount of time you spend with her, the relationship is clearly defined and thus it would be multiplication not addition. Title: Re: Woman (non poker) Post by: RFC on August 24, 2005, 04:58:33 PM To find a woman you need time and money So, women = time X money Surely it should be women = time + money typical lawyer to read the small print :D :D Title: Re: Woman (non poker) Post by: Robert HM on August 24, 2005, 05:04:39 PM Is it just me or is something missing from this post? A female poster perhaps? Title: Re: Woman (non poker) Post by: ifm on August 24, 2005, 05:08:22 PM but if the amount of money is undefined it wouldn't matter if it was x or + would it seeing as it then goes on to money+money or money x money ???
ok i'm confusing myself now Title: Re: Woman (non poker) Post by: AdamM on August 24, 2005, 05:19:47 PM I thought it was time AND money (+) but as Mikky says, then it doesn't work and stops being funny.
actually as I think about it, it must be X if one of the variables then the answer is zero women. if it was + then a given ammount of time and zero money would still equal woman. where as in reality, no matter how much time you put in, if there's no money, theres no women. A single man was cleaning the attic in his bachelor pad whe he stumbled upon a small gold lamp. A firm believer in the paranormal, he quickly gave it a rub and crossed his fingers. To his joy, out popped a genie. "I AM THE GENIE OF THE LAMP!" he boomed, "AND I GRANT YOU ONE, AND ONE ONLY, WISH" The bachelor mulled it over for a moment before saying, "I'd love to see some of these wars come to an end." "WHICH WAR?" exclaims the genie. The bachelor unwravels a map and points out Palestine and Israel. "Please could you put a stop to the Arab-Israeli conflict? I'm sick of hearing about folk over there being killed." Slightly bemused, the genie leans down towards the bachelor and says, "Look mate, I know I'm a genie an all, but I can't work bloomin miracles. Isn't their something simpler you'd like. Something for you. Besides, my map reading skills are shoddy." "Well", he replies, "I've been single for ages now. I'd love to meet a young beautiful girl who loves me for my personality. Cooks, cleans, and doesn't nag. It's not much to ask for." The genie pauses for a moment before saying, "Give us that bloomin map." :) 8) Title: Re: Woman (non poker) Post by: stoo on August 24, 2005, 07:56:05 PM hehe. very good
