Report it if you like and just forget about it.  Make a note on their names and don't sit at a table with them again.

It is so obviously cheating that I would have had to draw attention to it, if it was live, I would call the cardroom manager over and show him exactly what had happened, if it was on tinternet, I would send the hand history to suppport and demand an inquest!!

It may be unethical but I don't think you can ban someone for it

whilst you and I may not bet into a dry side pot with nothing at least he is betting...its not as if he is checking the nuts to his mate to keep him in is it? (far worse in my opinion)

I do not think a cardroom supervisor could do anything about this

The thing is, by doing it on the turn the mug is going to have to expose his cards as it will be "on there backs" if you pass.

If he does it on the river, he could see his mates cards and just muck without showing ...  at least justice was done and you won a nice chunk of chips off him :)

The place i was playing nobody ever checks it down its  a joke.  but there is a difference between betting with bottom pair or ace high  to betting with   5 high

u should have seen his face. he said how the hell can you call.  I said because i have already put 2k in. its 2k more to call. I have and ace a jack or a spade to hit   and i belived both only had a small pair or hit there king... then i said. never mind that how the hell can you go all in with 5 high.   he said he was bluffing. i said and what exactly were u bluffing at. u werent going to win anything.


both were put out and went home unhappy :D

I can see an argument for ace high, bottom pair - if there is enough in the main pot.

Some people don't realise it's a dry sidepot though.

By betting he may give himself 6 outs to the win the pot and 4 to split. By checking he leaves himself 0 outs.
