I feel a little sad today that Pluto has been relegated from the list of Planets, 2500 members of the astranomical union have decided that the rest of the world will now only have 8 planets unless a number of 'candidate planets' can step in to fill the hole.

So lets hear it for our old friend Pluto...may he rotate around the sun and grow stronger from this terrible demotion.

in my book pluto is still there. why dont we just name the other outlying planets and have more than 9 instead of scrapping pluto. pluto aint going anywhere. long live pluto

If they classed pluto as a planet then we would have to rename loads more, lazy bastards. They just didnt want the extra work.

He is a Dwarf Planet now.  Are there any other famous Dwarf Planets we should be aware of?   My best friend at school has an older Brother who has a PHD in Astro Physics. I never understood what the fella was talking about  :D ,  I used to beat him at chess though because he had no competitive bones in his body. I have no brains, but every bone in my body is competitive  :D

yes it is. just cause there are more either bigger or smaller planets further out, doesnt mean we shouldnt name them planets instead of cutting pluto out. these bunch of scientists had to make that decision and did consider what ive said as a major issue.

i have recently recieve a sponsorship deal which will allow us to pick an astronaut to sly to pluto in able to distroy it

unfourtunately we are short in cash to the tune of a couple of billion for a neaclear bomb need to blow it up

but we are hoping to recruit Kiv Fae Essex (aka colchester kev) whom we hope will digest pluto for a snack
