Title: Playing AQ out of the Blinds
Post by: byronkincaid on August 26, 2006, 11:06:27 AM
I had only played one hand before against this dude but I had him pegged as a loose passive calling station, he called a pot sized bet with QJo on a low raggy flop, hit the J called a turn bet and checked river down.

When playing 6 max you have to play in the blinds a lot. I'm pretty sure raising AQ here is a winning play, standard C-bet, hit my hand on the turn, anyone play this different?

I might check call on the end. If he is drawing he's almost obliged to have a stab if you check it to him. If he's got the goods your screwed either way. But it might be a little cheaper.

yes I think check calling if he's miised some kind of draw to induce a bluff is an excellent idea.

I'd just about have to agree with that in a ten man table situation. on a 6 man table from out of position I@d bet this.
