Title: Re: does anyone get away from this?? Post by: boldie on August 27, 2006, 06:39:14 PM No you can't if you play it like this.
why not stick a raise in on the flop? If you don't have the nut straight then I reckon it is wise to try to find out if someone does. I hardly ever slowplay the straight unless it is the nut straight. If you stick a re-raise in on the flop and then get re-raised or flat called you have a better idea of where you are in the hand. Ussually of course you'll take this down and you are unlucky when you flop a straight and someone else has a better straight on the flop but you really want to know where you stand...and also don't give any free cards out. what would you bhave done if the turn had been a jack? Make everyone pay for every card...doing that also gives you a better idea what everyone is holding. Title: Re: does anyone get away from this??
