Title: Celtic in for Liverpool fullback- Any good?
Post by: Tinsel Town on August 29, 2006, 07:45:18 PM
Seems that Kronkamps (Not sure of spelling or christian name) agent was at Celtic Park today.

Rumour has it he's a full back and Celtic want him on loan. I've not heard of him but if he's at liverpool he
must be OK.

is he any good?

I saw him play when he was at AZ and he looked good (but then Ricksen looked good playing for them) but he has done nothing since he left

Celtic's online fan sites are in meltdown

Clyde is reporting we've offered £1m and Beattie for Kevin Thompson of Hibs!!

Again we'll see

I like Beattie as he gives us something different, hes very direct, strong & pacey & really worries opposition defences, problem is hes never fit.

Thompson is a smashing player, very composed & he ran the show in the first half on saturday before being over run.

Kenny Miller plus 1 mill would be better for us  ;)

Kronkamp is one of those Liverpool continental signings that never really transitioned to the British game. We probably haven't seen anything like the best of him in England. A change of scene can only help.

Traore is now at Charlton

I played poker with Miller and Lee Naylor a few times. Naylor is tight, Miller a maniac. Hope this comes in handy in the Riverboat etc etc lads. They are, ahem, "best" friends.

Quite why Lee Naylor is needed at Parkhead I do not know.

lee naylor is needed because we had ross wallace a diminutive left winger playing there, mo camara as i understand it was allowed to leave..they opened the gates during one of his runs in the game and he kept on going all the way to wolves. :D

i dont reckon naylor is up too much but as the competition is non existant its a walkover.

Kromkamp has potential but never showed it at Liverpool. He was great at AZ.

I prefer him at right midfield. Defensively worrying.
