So being a good boy and a model citizen i leave my car at the pub so as not to drink drive. Just got a call of my pal (it's his pub) and some dirty lowlife scumbag has smashed my car window and nicked my NEW stereo. Cheers scumbags. Title: Re: You try to do the right thing................ Same happened to me couple of weeks ago Ifm, James and I went up to London Zoo and left the car in a CCTV car park at a train station on the outskirts. Came back at 5pm to find the window smashed, stereo nicked, TomTom gone and the door knackered. So much for a nice day out..... Title: Re: You try to do the right thing................ I left my MP3 player in the backseat (pretty stupid i know) and came back and the window was smashed, the mp3 player was gone and some money was gone from my glove compartment.
theres not much worse then having your mum on your arm crying and having to deal with a broken window at the same time.... scumbags Sometimes I think theres a niche for a vigilante, Charles Bronson style to roam the streets gaining revenge on these feral animals, but then I guess you are stooping to thier level. My gran was in hospital for 8 months. Between, me, my mum and my sister, we were there twice a day, every day for 8 months, our cars in the car pack. The night my aunt passed away, all three of us were down there to say goodbye - the last time we would be in the car pack. Each of us had our window smashed and radio's knicked. You need to be scum to do it in the first place, but to steal from someone in a hopsital car park or outside a church? Complete scum that deserves annihilation. It's happened to me too, about 5 years ago. They stole the cover from the stereo, not the stereo itself. Despite the hassle of getting a new window and stereo cover, it still made me laugh that they were so stupid to steal something so useless. You're dealing with pretty stupid people here, rest assured they'll get what they deserve one day. In Bubba's cell, the only thing getting burgled will be their rears. (sorry!) Turns out it was a guy who lived a few doors down (neighbour spotted him). I went and had a friendly chat with him and explained how nice I was being not calling the police and how I might not be so ameanable if anything happened again. I got a cheque to cover the cost of the window and damage which bounced and the swine moved out of the house the day after (did a runner)- worth it to get rid of a scumbag from my mums neighbourhoud if you ask me.

Police said they smash the windown and climb in the window instead of unlocking the door because some alarms dont react to windows breaking but react to opening the door. The first time the police told me one of their local regulars had recently been released, so it was probably him. They'd dab the car for prints and see if anything came up. Surely, I asked, if he is a habitual car thief he wouldn't be daft enough to leave prints? You'd be surprised just how stupid they are, was the answer. (Sure enough they did get a print. MUCH later he went to court, pled guilty and got a £200 fine. Farce!) The second time I said to the policeman, I'm beginning to think it might be better if I caught this guy rather than you.
