Title: blondepokerleague website
Post by: Claw75 on September 01, 2006, 09:14:55 PM
can't seem to access promotion details etc - I am intrigued about the $2000 for winning STTs though - can anyone shed any light?  Also, does anyone know when we can expect to get all our extra action points following the August promotion?

Win 3 consecutive STT’s in a row and receive a $20 Bonus
Win 4 consecutive STT’s in a row and receive a $200 Bonus
Win 5 consecutive STT’s in a row and receive a $2,000 bonus
Place 1st or 2nd in 5 consecutive STT’s and receive $100

Copied and pasted. Min $1 tables

It says 'normal, speed or turbo' no mention of extended. Perhaps they are not included.  :dontask:

Wait, there's more...

1. In order to qualify for the above bonus’ you must play at 9-seat single tournament tables of $1 or higher. Tables can be Normal, Speed or Turbo.

Payout Structure

1. For claims containing tables with a buy in from and including $1.00 up to and including $5.00 – 25% of the total bonus payout will be applied.
2. For claims containing tables with a buy in of greater than $5.00 and up to and including $15.00 – 50% of the total bonus payout will be applied.
3. For claims containing tables with a buy in of greater than $15.00 - 100% of the total bonus payout will be applied.
4. All tables with a buy in of less than $1 are excluded from this promotion
5. If there is mixtures of table buy in within any prize claim – the lower percentage will be applicable.

There more in the T+Cs but nothing very exciting...

All multiplied action points will be paid by the 5th of each month.

OK just another silly question about this.  I note that if the tables you have your consecutive wins on are a mixture of buy ins, the lower percentage would apply.  What would happen if, for example, you got the following results:

win $3
win $15
win $15
win $15
win $15
win $15

so, after the 5th win you would get a bonus of £500, because the first result was at a $3.  However, after the sixth result, you would have had 5 wins at the level required for a $2000 bonus.  Does it get reset after the 5th win at any level, or will the sixth consecutive win override the first one at $3.  Hope this makes sense ???

Once you make a claim, the run is over ... you cant keep rolling your results.

Thanks Kev.  I will bear that in mind because I am planning on achieving exactly the results I set out above  :)up  I will ensure I have a loss between the $3 and $15.

sorry if I'm being thick again but, from what you've said, does that mean that it's a bit like Bullseye and if you don't claim for winning three in a row, then go on to lose a fourth, you don't get anything?

you dont make a claim for 3 until you have lost your 4th ... it would be daft to claim for 3 when you get a free go at 4

OK good.  so in the scenario I posted above, you wouldn't make the claim after the fifth win, you could wait to see if you get the sixth (fifth at $15) then claim for the last five games.

I hope that is clear for anyone who, unlike me, has a cat in hell's chance of getting a bonus!
