If you are intending to play the Friday night comp (the night before bb3) please get there early...last week Walsall had 182 runners for this and there were big queues long after the advetised start time

The casino opens at 3pm on Saturday, if you need to sign in as a member of Walsall, please arrive early and allow plenty of time to do so

We look like we will start 4.30ish but all sign ins for the comp pre 4pm..there is a little pre comp "entertainment" to get through first

There won't be a buffet on the Saturday night but we are factoring in a 45minute or so break in at 8.30pm/9pm for people to eat.

No buffet?? that's taking the pee!!!!!!!!!
I'm very serious BTW, they get a guaranteed 180+ crowd and they can't be arsed to do some grub?

The message I have just had finalised is that they can't cater for 200 of us

I wanted to give everyone advance warning of this, to avoid disappointment on the night. It's the bar meals menu I am afraid.

Probaly a rare thing, but i agree with ifm on this, certainly disappointing and i do understand that this decision is down to the casino.

Oh well, let's see how they like 100 or so pizza boxes strewn about the place after a load of us order from the local "Dominoes".

£5 rebuy with 2 30 min levels for rebuys. then 10 min levels

It is on a retail park with plenty of places to eat, i reckon we should all enter a pact to find food elsewhere, sod 'em!!!!!!!!

the casino does a very good menu ranging from bar snacks to full meals too

I can see it'll end up as people going in groups to the bar or restaurant as they get knocked out of the 'main event'

the Walsall menu is very good. I wouldn't say it if I didn't mean it

and as for speaking to walsall, yes I have a lot for several weeks. If I could get them to give us a buffet, I would have done so by now.

Ok it may look like i'm having a pop at you Tighty, i'm not.
Walsall have exchanges a regular Saturday comp with around 80 runners for a comp that is going to guarantee a minimum of 190, add to this all the plus one's and it is a great bit of business for them.
Giving excuses that they can't cater for this amount when many, many of us have been there, seen it is daft.
They want to extract the most money from us, fair enough but leaving things like this so late and making excuses is wrong.

ok put me down for a tandoori chicken tikka and 2 extra garlic nan breads, + an all day breakfast, oh a 12 in pizza with spicy chicken,ham pineapple and tuna with a portion of garlic bread and a plate of spagetti and meatballs

ok thats 20 minutes of the break taken care of what shall i do for the other 40 minutes? and dont say repair my puncture as these tires are bullet proof

they cant cater for 200 buffet wise but they can do 200 bar meals if you want laughable!

Now this is a good idea, Harmony and i were considering taking a luchen hamper and having a picnic in the casino, a Blonde picnic ?

ill have no time to eat,the only thing going in my mouth is extra large glasses of white wine.

From my experience, when they have a lot of runners (the Friday night comp) you can be waiting around half an hour on average at times for a meal, this of course is for the people who wanted to eat at the casino (hadn't eaten before setting off).
Seeing as we will be there all day and night we ALL will need food it could be a bit of a problem.

May i humbly re-suggest the Blonde picnic as mentioned earlier ?

Do you have to pay cash to enter?  I'm just trying to think how much to bring with me (never been to an event like this before)

Also, will there be sng side games? What's the likely buy in to these please?
