Title: Stuck on a puzzle
Post by: Indestructable on September 06, 2006, 08:36:11 PM
These are probably easy, but stuck so any ideas? There is a connecting word between each pair of words so for example
Garlic and Fly the answer is butter - garlic Butter and butter fly

Heavy           Fatigue

Back              Grease

Vegetable     & Run         (the & is part of the answer)

no prizes if you have the answer, but will send you a postcard from the holiday if I win it.  :D

On the advice of my A-level maths teacher i sent off for a preliminary mensa test.

There were a couple of the mathematics questions, particularly number patters that i could just not do.

So i decided to wait until the topic of patterns came up in class and introduced the questions.

My teacher was a bit suspicious about how i came up with them but i got the  answers!!

A deserving 154 i thought, just for the lateral thinking involved in acquiring the answers ;D

I am. We start in 2 minutes. I am staring in a rather lewd manner at Michelle's prize assets. I just can't help it.

Poor Michelle has had 4 wisdom teeth removed, & is in some pain.

Back elbow also seems legitimate. A lot of people refer to the outside of your elbow as an elbow, and the other side (in line with your palm) as a back elbow.

Can't believe no one has got the correct answer to no 2. Back in the old days when we had coal fires we used to buy scuttle grease in order to make coal come out of said container more efficiently. Therefore the real answer is 'scuttle'.
