When I was about 13, I spent a whole day looking round the Glasgow bookstores for a Klingon dictionary. Sadly I couldn't find a copy. But last year I was in bargain books and I saw a copy of the Klingon dictionary for 40p. As soon as I saw it , I knew I was going to get it. My only problem was the girl serving behind the till was about my age and extremely attractive. I realised if I got the dictionary she would think I was a sad dweeby weirdo ( no comments :D ). In the end, I thought to myself that perhaps she would be too busy to notice what I was buying. I was wrong, she looked at me as if I was buying a dirty magazine with a mix of disgust and pity in her eyes :D Title: Re: Noel Edmonds Post by: bolt pp on September 08, 2006, 09:22:30 PM He has the same first name as my Uncle. Title: Re: Noel Edmonds Post by: Sark79 on September 08, 2006, 09:25:04 PM I considered many excuses as to why I was buying such a pointless and sad book, but she looked far too intelligent to believe any of them :D

Title: Re: Noel Edmonds Post by: Claw75 on September 08, 2006, 11:44:16 PM I would've given a kid on the street a quid to go in and get it for you!

The beautiful shop assistant may have told all her sisters "Stay away from that weird kid, he speaks Klingon". I saved the future chances of a young Glaswegian kid and as a result he will have a successful life. As for me, I will always be the nerd in her eyes now :( Title: Re: Noel Edmonds Post by: thetank on September 09, 2006, 12:18:41 AM Only one way to buy porn, loud and proud.
Make the shop assistant embarassed. The same I assume to be true of Klingon dictionaries. They may still be married - I don't know. Sark, go on, get a bus/plane/train/drive down to Walsall tomorrow mate :) When is the BB3? If it is tomorrow, I unfortunately cannot attend. I have already made arrangements to give a ballet leason at the local working mans club tomorrow morning. If I had known it was tomorrow, I would have made other arrangements. I cannot get down for tomorrow evening either as I am giving a flower arranging leason at the Prison. I am very busy . Have fun though mate and good luck Title: Re: Noel Edmonds Post by: Graham C on September 09, 2006, 12:47:36 AM lol :D
