Title: Poker in London Post by: The Baron on August 30, 2005, 12:37:26 AM I'm looking for a (£10 - £50 buy in) HE tourney in London for this Fri night. I know 4th street is being refurbished and the gutshot have a festival on, so was wondering if anyone know of a game anywhere else?
Thanks in advance. Title: Re: Poker in London Post by: The Baron on August 30, 2005, 12:49:49 AM Ok now I'm confused. Gutshot's email says there is a festival, the site says there isn't one.
Anyone know the score? Title: Re: Poker in London Post by: Royal Flush on August 30, 2005, 01:10:28 AM Festival is at the end of September....

Title: Re: Poker in London Post by: MonkeyDonkey on August 30, 2005, 11:48:35 AM ...and you'll get a £10 tourney most Friday nights. With a £5 + £20 most Saturdays.
Title: Re: Poker in London Post by: AndrewT on August 30, 2005, 01:10:26 PM There is a festival at Gutshot this weekend - they're doing a tourney with the same structure as the WSOP - 10,000 chips, starting on Thursday, with play continuing on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
I think Equal Chance in Walthamstow have a £30 rebuy on Friday night. Title: Re: Poker in London Post by: tikay on August 30, 2005, 01:14:35 PM Wow, how tempting is THAT? But 4 days in London is a bit heavy for me. Or is it, in my case, 3?.........
Title: Re: Poker in London Post by: Royal Flush on August 30, 2005, 03:01:52 PM I thought that was supposed to be last weekend??
Title: Re: Poker in London Post by: The Baron on August 30, 2005, 03:06:57 PM Ok so the 4 day jobbie is on - but the £5 nd £10 games are still on as well?

Title: Re: Poker in London Post by: RED-DOG on August 30, 2005, 06:05:30 PM Ok, next question, how are they going to make it last 4 days?
Title: Re: Poker in London Post by: Robert HM on August 30, 2005, 06:10:29 PM £65000 + VAT RED-DOG: I really don't know, i think it will be late starts and earlier finishes than the real WSOP. It was suggested that they have two day ones with two sets of runners but they said "no", perhaps they missed a chance to get the biggest comp they could for a £300 entry. |
