We have decided to start a few blonde only comps to keep us all entertained until we finalise plans for a new league next month...

TONIGHT at 10pm ...and hopefully every night this week ... we will be having a $5 NLHE Freezeout comp feel free to pop in and play :) I will be in so there will be plenty of vallooooooooooo.

Starting next TUESDAY 19th at 8.30pm we will be bringing back the bounty comp. It will be a $10 freezeout with 2x$25 bounties ..1 on tikay and the other to be confirmed.

After the success of the blonde Bash and the fact that we really need your support to maintain the standards on blonde that you have all come to expect, we would really hope that you will support us in these comps if at all possible.

I'll be there if I'm not in the pub *looks for tequila slammer smiley*

Well it looks easy enough, from what I can see it's more like the sea life centre than a poker league, but I'm going to test the waters by playing some of the 10:pm games.

8/1 sounds very generous, I'll bet one Fray Bentos steak and kidney at those odds.

Lol, i can see Kev making Red the weekly bounty during the third league to ensure he doesnt have to give up 8 pies!!

What odds would you quote me at and do you accept bets using a pie/banana combined currency - i put the bet on in pies you pay my winnings in bananas...................

Once the league format has been finalised, i will open a book for anyoe that wants a price ... currency will be pies or mars bars, although jaffa cakes will be considered.

Matt in your case special disspensation will be made, you can pay in banoffee pies.

I dont mind putting the bet on in a currency of your choosing - steak and kidney, chicken and mushroom or even mars bar pies provided i can have the winnings paid in a currency of my choosing (though given my record on tribeca this is an outside chance at best!).

I believe the current international exchange rate is 1 fray bentos steak & kidney = 4 bananas

have you not seen the news that the bottom has fallen out of the pie market - apparently something to do with increased costs leading to less demand. All the shrewdies are lumping on the pie exchange rates while the price is so low, i've already exchanged 3 steak and kidney, 2 meat and potato and 2 chicken and mushroom in the hope that soon the price will go back up soon.

Maybe they are awaiting your bi-annual pie figures before releasing a 2007 production schedule??

It can be done but u need to ring um up, too much hassles to ask, pity they cant just do like stars.

I've done it before.  You just need to give them the username and the PIN of the person you want to transfer the money to and they process it - only takes a few minutes on the phone and about 10 minutes for the money to go across.

Yes mate, work has already began on a new league ..... we are hoping to kick off early October.

The $5 comps are on EVERY night this week until Tuesday when we have the bounty special.

I should take that as "unintentional", you probably tried something "fishy" like raising preflop with junk and then trying to bluff someone off a flop of K K A.

Typically, I will be at work and so am unable to participate in this value ridden tournament, my hunch is Kev the fish will be out by Level 3.

yes Mikky, we are finalising the details of the upcoming league, which we hope to announce soon for a start in early October.

I am gonna try and get an omaha mtt sorted for friday evening, prob a 9pm start.

I don't know if this affects anything but I just noticed today that omaha (tournament variety) appears to be buggered on Tribeca at the moment... :dontask:
