Title: You thought you had problems.... Post by: TightEnd on September 14, 2006, 01:11:56 PM Its about 4.30am, I found out when I woke up
The dream is vivid, I'm in my car reversing but I accelerate towards two parked cars in a driveway and no matter how hard I press the brakes won't work. My car hits the first parked car and that careers onto the second, ending up on top of it I think "Oh no, what have I done?" and think to myself "hell, this is real" Then I wake up, soaked through I've got a book on the significance of dreams (always had horribly vivid dreams) and looked up this sort of dream the conclusion "If you are in a lift and it is out of control or in a car and the brakes won't work your life is out of control and things are going badly wrong. If though the lift stops before it hits the ground or the car stops before hitting anything because in either instance you wake up then that is a sign that things aren't as bad as you think" Oh that's ok then! Things are as bad as I think! eek. Title: Re: You thought you had problems.... Post by: Claw75 on September 14, 2006, 01:14:30 PM Nakor is a dream analyst (at least that's what he once told me!). Post by: Graham C on September 14, 2006, 01:24:24 PM I rarely remember my dreams, perhaps one a year or so - can't remember when I last remembered one (if you know what I mean!)
Mind, if they are like this, then I'm glad I don't. Personally, I think it's a load of old tosh, but I am open to ideas and you must dream about things you are thinking about some of the time. Title: Re: You thought you had problems.... Post by: Dingdell on September 14, 2006, 03:09:06 PM Matt has definitely gone way up in my mind :D (I'm not telling you where though)
I had a dream after the blonde bash that one of the blondites (name not given to protect the innocent) was jumping down the stairs one by one with both feet making as much noise as poss to get noticed and broke their ankles. As they were taken away by several ambulance men we all continued playing poker and ignored them. Hmmmmm Title: Re: You thought you had problems.... Title: Re: You thought you had problems.... Post by: Dingdell on September 14, 2006, 03:29:58 PM Only dreams i remember are if someone i love dies in them or Paul having afairs and leaving me ::) And dreams normally mean the opposite - dying means new life and dreaming of affairs mean he doesn't give you any reason to worry in real life so you have to dream it up! (I may start charging for this drivel) :D Title: Re: You thought you had problems.... Post by: madasahatstand on September 14, 2006, 06:23:04 PM yes dreams often contain our own insecurities. i agree with dingdell charmaine. and anyway you aint got a thing to be concerned about. it should be paul that worries as im sure there are a lot of men wanting to give you attention. but he knows you love him! he loves u too! i think in sometimes in relationships insecurity rotates between partners at times. its not a good feeling at all. the key though is to admit you feel that way. this is difficult for many people and is what eats people up inside.
tighty i think it does sound as if you feel things in your life are slightly outwith your control. do you want somethng you have been unable to get? and its not so bad because you eventually woke up!! Title: Re: You thought you had problems.... Post by: Ginger on September 14, 2006, 06:36:37 PM Dreams usually have strong significance, and are not usually hard to interpret. It's quite a myth that they are the opposite to what you have dreamt as it is the subconscious way of warning you, or showing you your fears.
Take Tighty with his out of control car, not hard to see the relevance with all the rushing around he has had lately with organising BB3, let alone all the other million things he does on a daily basis. Charmaine, it's no secret that you worry about Paul when he is away from home (and that shows you care, although he wouldn't do ANYTHING to hurt you ever IMO) To dream that your partner is cheating on you, highlights your fears of being abandoned. You may feel some lack of attention in the relationship (subconsciously or consciously). Alternatively, you may feel that you are not measuring up to the expectations of others. Title: Re: You thought you had problems.... Post by: M3boy on September 14, 2006, 06:44:02 PM Mad and Ginger - thanks for those comments
As for you Title: Re: You thought you had problems.... Post by: M3boy on September 14, 2006, 06:53:07 PM it should be paul that worries as im sure there are a lot of men wanting to give you attention DONT I KNOW IT!!!!!!!!!! - I KNOW i'm the lucky one! You may feel some lack of attention in the relationship (subconsciously or consciously). Alternatively, you may feel that you are not measuring up to the expectations of others. The first point is a defo NO NO - more like the 2nd point (although I see no reason why!) Title: Re: You thought you had problems.... Post by: Ginger on September 14, 2006, 07:04:49 PM LOL I'm not saying that Char is lacking attention, simply that that dream IMPLIES that she FEELS that way either subconsciously or consciously, more often than not it is the dreamer feeling inadequate or unworthy of the love received, thus feeling not good enough, then expecting the partner to have an affair.

I have it so often, always the same, fighting someone, usually someone ive had a fight with before but it feels like i'm in water and i cant move or throw punches and i'm going in comple slow motion. Title: Re: You thought you had problems.... Post by: M3boy on September 15, 2006, 10:56:24 AM At the time , I was being bullied something wrotten - worse 3 years of my life. I can only assume it has something to do with that. I was always told that if I was being bullied to just fight back, even if you took a beating, they would move onto an easier tarket - I knew this was right, but was too afraid to do it.
In the end, one of my "less desireable" friends (who was 21) - made friends while DJ'ing in a local pub - told him about it. The next day at school, this bully was not there, nor for the next 2 weeks! . Turned out that the "less desireable" friend had put him in hospital!! He beat him pretty bad by all accounts - and let him know it was for bullying me. Funily enough, when he returned to school , he NEVER bullied me again! The dreams stopped after that.
