what happened to trios?

i used to love them are they still about?

what other favs have i forgotten?

no trio's are no more.

not choccy, but I used to love those mint flavoured chews that were green and white stripes - can't remember what they were called though - anyone else?

curly wurlies are rotten but them and refreshers are much smaller than they used to be.

ive been trying to remeber the name of a sweet for ages. do you remeber the ones you got a toy inside when you chewed through. they may have been lucky potatoes but ive tried one lately and it didnt taste like what i remeber

no they weren't kinda's. you actually had to chew out the candy (or whatever it was covered with cinamin dust/powder) and the little crass plastic toy would be in the middle covered in saliva and mess from the sweet.

i loved those chewing gum with the gel inside but id forgotten the name. freshen up!! cheers angel

while reading the sweets and choc`s post from the past, mine was cola cubes & rainbow sherbet. although it did turn your finger yellow. it made me think of food from the past in general, did any of you have eggie bread when you were kids.i did my Nana use to make it for me. ;kev;
