Title: What's in the pot? Post by: MrMoves on September 16, 2006, 05:18:21 PM I was interested the first time I got the email. It's getting a little stale after four :)
Please stop sending it Blonde. Thanks. Title: Re: What's in the pot? Post by: Jim-D on September 16, 2006, 05:21:36 PM ?
Title: Re: What's in the pot? Post by: MrMoves on September 16, 2006, 05:25:11 PM ? I've had four emails from Blonde Poker League today - I've tried to opt out by emailing support but no joy. Two titled: Time to get real! Two titled: What's in the pot? Not four the same as I originally said, my bad. If I ask really nicely can I opt out? - There really should be a clickable link within the email to enable users to do this. Title: Re: What's in the pot? Post by: ifm on September 16, 2006, 05:25:27 PM I only got it twice!!
I did get "time to get real!" twice too though! They do spam a lot more than other sites. Title: Re: What's in the pot? Post by: Colchester Kev on September 16, 2006, 05:26:22 PM I have received no emails, nor am i aware that we are sending any .... can you send me a copy of the email via pm and i will find out whats happening.
Title: Re: What's in the pot? Post by: Claw75 on September 16, 2006, 05:27:04 PM yep - I've got both twice too. I always get emails from BPL twice!
Title: Re: What's in the pot? Post by: ifm on September 16, 2006, 05:27:58 PM The $25k freeroll is full BTW so no point in promoting it.
You CAN opt out, it's at the bottom of the email Title: Re: What's in the pot? Post by: MrMoves on September 16, 2006, 05:28:24 PM Probably incase anybody has a mis-read?

Why don't you get the emails? They must only target poker players. Title: Re: What's in the pot? Post by: Colchester Kev on September 16, 2006, 05:48:01 PM Ok I have seen the email "whats in the pot" ... (thanks Claire)
It is sent to everyone who has a blondepokerleague account by Bowmans, it is not sent by blonde. As ifm correctly points out, there is a message at the bottom of the email that clearly states "If you no longer wish to receive emails regarding BlondePokerLeague, please click here" I will get on to Bowmans to find out why people are getting multiple copies of the promotional emails. Title: Re: What's in the pot? Post by: Jim-D on September 16, 2006, 05:49:44 PM Why am i not getting these then? feel a little left out now :D

I will raise the question with the relevant dept. on Monday. Title: Re: What's in the pot? Post by: MrMoves on September 16, 2006, 05:57:25 PM Thanks Kev. I've clicked on the link to opt-out again.
