This I believe is from an official catalogue that sell knitted items. (http://content.imagesocket.com/images/crochet4ba.jpg) If you went fishing and pulled this out?! (http://content.imagesocket.com/images/WTFishf4d.jpg) The girl standing in the middle of that photo is dead and has been propped up using a metal frame. You can see it by her feet, just a little. It's one of the Victorian "memento mori" photographs that families sometimes took of loved ones. There's probably many others, posing the dead was not that unusual in these photos.
