Raise on the turn maybe?

He played the flop very strong though so maybe you were scared of a re-reraise?

yeah...you played this like you were scared snoop. why the small re reaise on the flop? Why not a bigger one? You played the flop like you have the Queen and not the Ace. Again the flat call on the flop says "I've only got middle pair here".

You gave out cheap cards and that's what killed ya IMO.

I don't want to sound mean of course but that's what I reckon.

You have been ragged....

I am not sure if this guy would fold anyway as he is betting with A2, he then re-raises your raise so he thinks his A2 is good.  I am not very keen of putting a lot of chips into the pot with a top pair and no draws against certain players - esp A rags fans.

there is 78  in the pot, if you want to take the pot down i would re-raise 88 instead of 50, if he calls then you have to think if your AK is good here, and whether your opponent is likely to be ahead.

On the turn if he is bets, i would re-raise again and throw the third bullet.

The problem is i have a feeling he would not go away with his A, so unless u are able to fold on the river you would lose anyway.

A lot of players are unable to fold top pair therefore it is important to keep notes who are they, and also what size of bet is sufficient to make them fold their top pair.

Only thing i'd of done differently is make a re re-raise on the flop to really find out where I am.

i don't think by re-raising again on the flop you really find out where you are. i also believe this costs you far too much in the long run.
the call on the flop is fine. however i'd of raised $50 on the turn. the betting pattern the villian displays could be anything from KJ for the draw to A4 or the two pair. by raising HERE and not on the flop you KNOW you're pushing of anything weaker than you. and can confidently fold on the river to a bet.

I WAS scared, but only on the flop. When someone re-re-raises you, you tend to put them on something more than A-2, in fact, I was convinced he had A-Q but thought I'd see what he did on the Turn.

I thought the Turn bet was weak and thought I'd let him bet the River with the inferior hand. I would have called any bet. My fault for letting him hit.
