Title: Great tells you have seen
Post by: TightEnd on August 31, 2005, 03:40:39 PM
Go on, I want to hear them

My favourite is the guy in Luton, who shall remain nameless, who wears sunglasses (ESPN Wannabee) but has to lift them up onto his forehead to check whether he really has four to a flush with a card to come, becuase he can't see properly with his shades on

I don't have the heart to tell him, as I make him pay to hit the thing every time we sit together

i know it is documented but a guy at the broadway just has to stop chewing his gum when he is bluffing. only played him twice but it was like seeing his cards everytime.

but if he ever does pick up a real hand, he's guaranteed to get action isn't he?

Young lad opposite me recently checked his hole cards and, unusually so far, went bright red.  I folded quicker than an origami expert on speed.  It got folded round to him and he put his raise in with, unusually again,  a very shaky hand.  The bloke next to him didn't spot any of this and called.  Flpp comes K-x-x and young lads shaky hand puts in another big bet.  Still not spotted and gets a call.  This continues to showdown with lad on pocket Kings.

Its funny, Im often shaky during the first few hands of a tournament, even if I'm not involved, I don't feel at all nervous, just excited, I always get an adrenalin rush

Yeah, me too Red-Dog.  Strangely then, I don't like to get a big hand very early.  I feel transparent.
