For Isabelle Mercier . Do you date people who are poor, terrible at poker and only 5'5? ( My friend wants to know ::) ) Title: Re: EPT Interviews Post by: neeko on September 20, 2006, 09:01:06 PM To all but Joe who no longer needs to play to win money, how do you choose which games to play, (obviously "soft ones") but what characteristics, game type, no of players (is Flushy playing?) etc

Title: Re: EPT Interviews Post by: byronkincaid on September 20, 2006, 09:09:49 PM Why doesn't he shave that bit of hair off his chin?
Title: Re: EPT Interviews Post by: Graham C on September 20, 2006, 09:13:12 PM No questions, but wish Joe the best of luck - I quite like his style for poker :)
Title: Re: EPT Interviews Post by: Dewi_cool on September 20, 2006, 09:18:26 PM If you die in the night, is it true you dont know about it untill the morning?
How many sheets of paper can one tree make? If someone with multiple personalities threatens to kill himself, is it considered a hostage situation? Title: Re: EPT Interviews Post by: Claw75 on September 20, 2006, 09:23:57 PM which colour is not a sea?

Title: Re: EPT Interviews Post by: bobby1 on September 21, 2006, 01:42:06 AM Could you ask Joe if a deal had been done when heads up in the WSOP final?
I still cant believe that Danneman got the lot in in that spot. Title: Re: EPT Interviews Post by: Ironside on September 21, 2006, 01:43:21 AM can you ask if any of them want to sponsor a the winner of the first APAT event?
Title: Re: EPT Interviews Post by: RobS on September 21, 2006, 02:29:28 AM You could ask Pagano how on Earth he has blagged a Sponsorship deal with PokerStars given that he has not managed to cash for more than twice the entry fee in any live tournament for over 18 months??!!
Title: Re: EPT Interviews Post by: bolt pp on September 21, 2006, 03:33:46 AM "Do you have any tips on how to win a caption comp"?
And "what is the definition of the term "chav"? Title: Re: EPT Interviews Post by: Sark79 on September 21, 2006, 03:36:56 AM You could ask Pagano how on Earth he has blagged a Sponsorship deal with PokerStars given that he has not managed to cash for more than twice the entry fee in any live tournament for over 18 months??!! He wears blue jackets and has a pair of expensive sunglasses . Maybe Lee Jones likes blue jackets and expensive sun glasses. Their common interest in these items has given Luca Pagano the opportunity to gain pokerstars sponsorship. I have already ordered my blue jacket and sunglasses. With any luck I will cash in a $1 MTT soon, after that it should be straight forward for my high profile sponsorship deal ;) . "Having practiced commercial law, what is your opinion of measures taken in the U.S to formally criminalize online poker and gaming"? Victor Ramadin: "How did your affiliation with the charity:" Guyana watch" come about, what do they do, and in what way do you contribute"? Joe Hatcham: "Being a former chiropractor are there any tips you could give fellow professionals, or techniques you apply yourself, during the long sessions, to increase comfortability and minimise the potential for back injury"? ;) Title: Re: EPT Interviews Post by: action man on September 21, 2006, 04:48:43 PM You could ask Pagano how on Earth he has blagged a Sponsorship deal with PokerStars given that he has not managed to cash for more than twice the entry fee in any live tournament for over 18 months??!! whats mercier ever won? Title: Re: EPT Interviews Post by: RobS on September 21, 2006, 04:56:55 PM More than Pagano that's for sure http://pokerdb.thehendonmob.com/player.php?a=r&n=431.
Anyway when she got sponsored it was pretty obvious it was partly for other assets she possesses and not just her poker results. ;scarymoment; Title: Re: EPT Interviews Post by: Jon MW on September 21, 2006, 04:58:00 PM I see a couple of wins for Isabelle Mercier, but recently $ 5,000 No Limit Hold'em,WSOP 2006, 5th place for $ 175,404 - seems quite impressive to me.

The Stars sponsersed players seem an odd mix. Anyway when she got sponsored it was pretty obvious it was partly for other assets she possesses and not just her poker results. ;scarymoment; Has she won more than she has spent? The Stars sponsersed players seem an odd mix. Before she cashed for $175k at this year's WSOP she must have been well down on the live tournament circuit. That result may have got her out of trouble. Having said that I've absolutely no idea how good she is, never having played with her, not seen her on the telly either. Title: Re: EPT Interviews Post by: Wardonkey on September 21, 2006, 06:01:49 PM Results are not the only consideration when sites decide who to sponsor.
