Post by: Royal Flush on September 21, 2006, 02:41:43 AM Why did you not bet the flop or raise the turn? Or even re-raise pre?
Title: Re: Just have to pay him off? Post by: totalise on September 21, 2006, 03:42:11 AM Why did you not bet the flop or raise the turn? Or even re-raise pre? pot control I assume... the flop check and turn lead puts pab in a way ahead/way behind spot, his hand has reasonable showdown equity, so calling and getting to showdown is ok... its not like he can get much action from a worse hand, and he wont be getting better hands folding.. so raising here is just a case of protection, and he doesn't need to sweat many river cards Title: Re: Just have to pay him off?
