He also took his time passing 55 on a Q32J board (of course he might not have had 55 but its an odd lie if it is a lie) Title: Re: Fire the 3rd? As for this hand, what do you think he called with on the flop and turn that is gonna fold the river? the board is about as drawless as possible. I wouldn't even fire the turn, let alone the river. People don't usually call bets on paired flops without a good reason. Fire once on the flop fine, after that you're just throwing chips away.

The three isn't going to scare him (no card would) and he will call your river bet. I find calling the flop bet and then firing on the turn takes down these pots if your opponent is willing to fold.
