Title: PLO Cash - Raising Pre Flop....
Post by: Jim-D on September 22, 2006, 03:58:47 PM
I've been playing alot of PLO cash recently and am showing a small profit (6 handed), I really want to improve and would like opinions on pre flop raising,  I watch some of the higher games ($5/$10 up) and i see alot of raising, I've read a few articles and they nearlly all say that its a limping game and no need to raise.

Any views on this would help, Also what hands should call these raises?

Thanks
Jim.

i find alot of the time at $3/$6 which i reguarly play that its just to help build the pot about 60%+ people call a raise here and only fold the really bad hands like trips etc

Raise constantly against week passive players - you will win lots of pots on the flop uncontested

Yes raising is the way forward in this beautiful game especially if your playing live and you start raising the pot blind.   :D  As long as you know how to lay down a loosing hand and dont start chasing winning hands.
