It was a 5 outer BT. 22% to hit.

it was a 5 outer when the chips went in - . i said it was a 2 outer on the river. % 4.6 to hit

i hit my straight on the turn , he needed 1 of 2 sevens to make his straight.

apart from that , why is he calling 6bbs preflop with 9 10 off , betting out when hes missed and then calling my all in

he cant expect to have 5 outs ! hes calling most of his stack away with a 9 10 off suit , and a gutshot draw.

He can expect to have 10.

Why raise to 6bb pre flop with any hand? HU is about flops.

The bet by him is perfect, i would put you on a big A and he has a good chance of taking the pot away, if not he still has 10 outs.

if he doesnt take the pot away and i re raise all in , how can he still have 10 outs ? if he puts me on a stone cold bluff ?

would you call the re raise all in on the turn on that basis ?

It looks on the HH like it went in on the flop, if its gone in on the turn then my bad.

it did go all in on the flop , my bad

that still doesnt justify the call with 10 high though

would you call the re raise all in on the flop flushy ?

After he's put the 200 it really is not unreasonable for him, with 2 overs and a gutshot, to call for 785 chips more (26% of the chips left on the table).
Since it's winner takes all STT he doesn't need much equity in the hand to be making this call.
He actually has 5 outs and has 21% equity in the hand so his call was actually -ev
......but just say he thought you had top pair top kicker (A8) type hand then he thinks he has 10 outs + backdoor flush and straight draws and has about 41% equity in the hand, which would make calling +ev.

His preflop call and weak flop bet are both garbage, but you played the hand badly too by raising 6 times the BB preflop, you need to control the size of the pot in these games to make your skill advantage count. With 26BB - 32BBs each there is plenty of room for manouver but you're taking that away by making such a big preflop raise.
Really when you raise heads up, the actual hand that you have souldnt affect the amount that you raise but varying your raise amounts (within a small range, 2.5BB-3BB, or even 2BB-3.5BB) and limping sometimes helps with the mind games if you can make him think you're telegraphing the strength of your hand.
Once the blinds go up a couple of levels you can start pushing some hands preflop but standard initial move by you for this hand here should be to raise to 2.5BB-3BB, sometimes limping to be tricky, never folding and never open-pushing.

What was the buyin for this? HH says (50.00|100.00 No Limit - STT), 50 or 100 then?

a million mistakes corrected, HoLLa!~

Only thing wrong with that post is they have 30bb's each.
