Title: Re: LONDON EPT: DAY 2 - 'INTERACTIVE' LIVE UPDATE Post by: snoopy1239 on September 23, 2006, 03:39:59 PM Phil Ivey is OUT
Hand played itself really. Ivey had K-K in the big blind, Ashley Hayles had A-K in the small. Raise, re-raise, etc Ace hits the board and that's all she wrote for young Philip. Title: Re: LONDON EPT: DAY 2 - 'INTERACTIVE' LIVE UPDATE Post by: snoopy1239 on September 23, 2006, 03:41:49 PM Martin Green is OUT
All-in pre-flop with 6c 6s vs Chad Brown's Qd Qc Board = 8s Ts Kh Ahrt Tc The Chad marches on. Title: Re: LONDON EPT: DAY 2 - 'INTERACTIVE' LIVE UPDATE Post by: snoopy1239 on September 23, 2006, 03:42:22 PM Beng Sonnert has doubled up
A-A vs A-2, once again, all-in pre-flop. Title: Re: LONDON EPT: DAY 2 - 'INTERACTIVE' LIVE UPDATE Post by: snoopy1239 on September 23, 2006, 03:44:09 PM Witnessed a rather tense Hendon Mob confrontation, that I never really felt Barny was going to win.
Flop = 7d Qs 5c Barny checks, Ram bets 1.5k, Barny calls. Turn = Jd Barny checks, Ram bets 3k, Barny calls. River = 4h Barny check, Ram bets 5k, Barny folds. I was watching the master updater live last night, not an easy job. good work ta, buddy The biggest non-all-in hand so far has to be this one between John Kabbaj and Dean Sanders. The flop was Ts 7c Th and I joined the party as Sanders was re-raising Kabbaj's 8k bet to 33k. JK reluctantly released his hand. Personally, I'd love to see Kabbaj win this one. Nice chap and one hell of a player. Possibly the most underrated. Agree? Title: Re: LONDON EPT: DAY 2 - 'INTERACTIVE' LIVE UPDATE Post by: snoopy1239 on September 23, 2006, 03:48:45 PM C'mon chaps (and chapettes), let's hear your pics...

Jeff Buffenbarger playing 7 handed under the gun finds AQ he raises and gets a Mateyboy caller who had AK. Ouch. No help for Jeff and he has left the building. I feel bad looking at the guys when they have just gone but Jeff is the happiest chappy you are ever likely to meet. He shrugs, smiles and said "I can go and watch the golf now!" I'm going for: Johnny Lodden John Kabbaj Ryan Fronda (in that order) I shall offer £20 English pounds if someone can pick them in the right order. Not much, but I'm a bit of a pauper. :'( oops Johnny Lodden raised to 4k, John Kabbaj moved all-in for 20k, only for his next door neighbour to make that rather worrying call. After Lodden folded, Kabbaj showed his A-J, and was probably somewhat relieved to see that his opponent didn't have Aces. Not too far off though as he flipped over those cowboys... yeeeeehaaaaa. No Ace (or two jacks, straight, etc) arrived and Kabbaj was left to make that long walk. He didn't seem too happy, he had what we say in Brum 'a cob on' Meanwhile, back in the press room, Rolf comments, "What was he thinking raising a player like Lodden with A-J. Lodden only plays premium hands." ;whistle; Title: Re: LONDON EPT: DAY 2 - 'INTERACTIVE' LIVE UPDATE Post by: snoopy1239 on September 23, 2006, 04:09:42 PM my top 3 chad brown femminella tommaso john kabbaj :hello: snoopy and hot stuff chad brown femminella tommaso rotflmfao Title: Re: LONDON EPT: DAY 2 - 'INTERACTIVE' LIVE UPDATE Post by: Chili on September 23, 2006, 04:11:17 PM Anybody that wants someone following, give us a shout guys.

Olsen re-raised Torben Shejbjerg pre-flop raise of 16,500 all-in, only for Shejbjerg to make a good call with A-Q. Thankfully for the over-complicatedly named Sherbert (my new nick-name for him - it's easier), the board rewarded his call - 5-9-8-T-6 Title: Re: LONDON EPT: DAY 2 - 'INTERACTIVE' LIVE UPDATE Post by: Chili on September 23, 2006, 04:13:32 PM Some pictures from early. A-J vs A-K I didn't recognise him today as he wasn't wearing his Panama hat. According to Raab, the Blue Square Qualifier left it in a taxi and has therefore been reduced to wearing his less thrilling BS cap. Channing must have called the clock, because he asked the dealer to be clear on the countdown. Instead, the dealer called over one of the supervisors who did the countdown for him. It was really bizarre because he counted each and every second out loud, and everyone else seemed to join in (mainly for fun, including moi). Even more bizarrely, the guy didn't seemed to respond whatsoever, with the supervisor finally announcing his hand as 'dead'. It was kind of strange when everyone was joining in with the countdown though, must have put Mateyboy off at least a little. Anyhow, he's been low for the whole tourney, down to 32k, and dropping as low as 2.7k at one point. His head must hurt a little. Lost a chunk of chips with 5-6 on a 6-7-8 flop, and then finally flung his shortstack in with T-2, but was unable to master it in the same way as Doyle Brunson, eventually losing to A-5. Title: Re: LONDON EPT: DAY 2 - 'INTERACTIVE' LIVE UPDATE Post by: Chili on September 23, 2006, 08:30:59 PM Tony Chessa has gone.
He was sat low all day and with 23k was faced with a 3rd consecutive raise from the loosest player on the table - Tom Sambrook!! He dwelled his AQ but not for long and in it went. So how often does this happen, the time you take a stand against serial raiser he has KK this time. No joy for Chessa. I take offence to that. Snoopy and Chilli have a tough job, the distance between the press room and the cardroom is quite far, therefore they're more likely to pick up multiple chippy counts and hand histories rather than just one or two to save on the walking. Plus I can speak from experience how you can be off looking for one person, suddenly see an exciting mateyboy squared moment and completely forget what you were doing. :blonde: Title: Re: LONDON EPT: DAY 2 - 'INTERACTIVE' LIVE UPDATE Post by: booder on September 23, 2006, 08:35:22 PM . Can anyone divulge any info on this chap? He's the guy who knocked out Sverre Sundbo yesterday. Sverre raised for I think, 1,050 on the button with AK, I think the blinds were either 150/300 or 200/400. And Finney moved in for errr....around 40k with AJ, Sverre insta-called for his 20k or so stack but a Jack came on the turn. He had a huge stack at that point but I think he lost a good half of it to the two gentlemen to his left before the end of play last night. He moved all in with pocket sevens on the TV table. Unfortunately Thomas Kremser does not say what suit cards are so I don't have that info, but in any case its irrelevant for this hand. Barny Boatman called with Q-J The flop was not ideal for Sid : J-T-K giving Barny a pair of jacks and an open ended staright draw. But the turn was ideal, as it was a further 7. Vicki raised in the cutoff and Barney Called with A 10 off. the flop was: Kh Td 9h Vicky Checked, Barny bet, Vicki called. There was another heart on the turn 3h. They both checked and the river was 8s. Vicki then bet, and Barny went all in. Vicky dwelled forever and then called with a K top pair. Title: Re: LONDON EPT: DAY 2 - 'INTERACTIVE' LIVE UPDATE Post by: snoopy1239 on September 24, 2006, 01:55:52 AM Play has yet to recommence, but I did bump into Paul Parker.
Well, he bumped into me, win in hand. He was talking (that's no surprise) about Shannon Shorr and his recent 600k (or near enough) win at the Bellagio. "There was no-one there, just a few people watching, including myself. It was totally surreal, they're playing for millions of dollars yet no-one was interested. Maybe it was because of the lack of tv coverage, but there was no interest in the comp at all. Even the players looked disinterested, you wouldn't believe that Shorr was only 21 and playing for so much money. When he won, they casually announced it on the tannoy and I looked over. Shorr was completely stoic, no emotion whatsoever. You'd see more of a celebration at a £10 rebuy." All-in pre-flop against Jonas Molanders. A-rag vs K-Q Flop was a messy one for Isabelle K-5-Q giving Molanders two pair 4 on the Turn and Isabelle pushes away from the table, kissing everybody down there. In fact, I was tempted to rush down there to try and join in the fun. Title: Re: LONDON EPT: DAY 2 - 'INTERACTIVE' LIVE UPDATE Post by: Redbull on September 24, 2006, 02:09:44 AM Damn, OK. Oscar made it 30k, Channing smooth called and Hayles makes it 132k more. Oscar folds and Channing calls after a lenghty dwell with T-T. It was a good call as Hayles just had the A-6, but the board brought Q-4-9-A-9 to give Ashley the pot. Unfortunately for the blondeite, the gamble didn't pay off and he was sent to the rail after a blank board. Just found out that it was Michael Muldoon who finished Channing off. The above hand DID occur, but Channing was still in... just. Shortstacked, he managed to find Pocket Tens, and a caller in Muldoon who had Sevens. But the board was harsh with a 5-6-8 flop and then a nasty 4 on the Turn. Vicky Coren was also pretty short early on that day and she's certainly picked the right moments to move in, especially coming back on day 2 as one of the shorties and now in the final 15.
