Title: Re: Champion's League updates Post by: Scottish Dave on September 26, 2006, 09:41:16 PM well Celtic got 2 more points than they deserved they where good in the first half total shocking in the second Far to harsh! 3 points extremely well deserved, if it wasnt for their Keeper having 2 great saves, celtic could have won 3-0 tonight. Clearly the better team, with weary legs towards the last 15 mins, after a tough game at the weekend. up to Second place and into Qualification place! Miller was great again, i was worried with the loss of JVoH. Wee McGeady was fekkin outstanding again, he pissed all over his opponents tonight, teams just cant handle him! so proud, im buzzing! Title: Re: Champion's League updates Post by: Scottish Dave on September 26, 2006, 09:44:54 PM also great for Arsenal, getting it right into those Cheating gits Porto!
and Moscow, beating Hamburg was another result i was desperately looking for Title: Re: Champion's League updates Post by: henrik777 on September 26, 2006, 11:01:08 PM well Celtic got 2 more points than they deserved they where good in the first half total shocking in the second http://www.sportinglife.com/football/news/story_get.cgi?STORY_NAME=soccer/06/09/26/manual_185156.html&TEAMHD=soccer "Celtic opened their Champions League account with a dominant 1-0 win over toothless FC Copenhagen at Parkhead." "Boruc was no more than a spectator for most of the game but did pull off comfortable saves from Hjalte Norregaard's 30-yard effort and Atiba Hutchinson's late looping header." 1-0 is never totally comfortable but Copenhagen looked like they could "play" for a month and not score. They may have injured all of the celtic players though. Another ref who needs a new job. The standard of referee in the recent celtic champions league games has been awful (not bias just rank). You'll never walk alone on big games gets me every time :'( Title: Re: Champion's League updates Post by: brad.strider on September 26, 2006, 11:54:55 PM yep, thats the worse team weve played in cl group stage by a mile,i thought it was a poor game but 3 pts is 3 pts
Title: Re: Champion's League updates Post by: Div on September 26, 2006, 11:55:10 PM Copenhagen seem to be the Dunfermline of Scandinavia. Their fans were way more entertaining, and much like Saturday we did enough to win without extending ourselves.
Something highly amusing about a thousand or so Scandies singing football(ish) songs in perfect but heavily accented English. Makes a change from "I raise" Title: Re: Champion's League updates Post by: brad.strider on September 27, 2006, 12:13:03 AM Copenhagen seem to be the Dunfermline of Scandinavia.
