Title: WTG Poppet! - 2nd in the $1500 guaranteed Post by: mikkyT on September 28, 2006, 05:33:15 AM Poppet, account having been emptied for all of its 1$, deposited £5 in her blonde account yesterday morning.
After winning a small 3 table $10 tournament that afternoon for $113, her first MTT win (aside from freerolls), we both entered the $1500 GTD f/o for $20 in the early hours of the morning... Never having played an MTT tournament with a buyin higher than $10, 82 runners with a prize pool of $1640. She only almost bloody won it! $328 for 2nd place, a bit unlucky with the outdraws but she had more than her fair share of the luck.
