Title: Major computer help . . . Post by: Nakor on September 30, 2006, 07:47:36 PM Bought my Mum a old PC (Windows xp) all fine on dial up.
When trying to install broadband I insert disk I get the following message 'The Ordinal 1334 could not be located in the dynamic link library IML.32.dll' When I OK that pop up message I get. . 'this application cannot start as it cannot create needed files. There may not be enough free disk space'. I have used my 'Friend' Google but no success - internet protocol might need reseting ? It also seems the DLL file is to do with macromedia* shockwave player so might be worth grabbing the latest version from them http://www.adobe.com/shockwave/download/download.cgi *well adobe bought them. Not much on PC so all good in space department I am guessing. File downloaded - still no good any further suggestions ? "To solve the issue, try downloading the shockwave uninstaller, and run it to remove shockwave from your computer. Then, search for the IML32.dll file, delete it, and reinstall shockwave. With all the other crap you have to install you really need 10Gb. Turn off system restore and shrink the amount of space your recycle bin uses, then you should be ok. |
