Title: O/T who buys/wears this stuff
Post by: Claw75 on October 03, 2006, 01:37:42 PM
classy bird that I am, I was in Argos yesterday browsing at the jewellery counter, when I noticed this:

http://www.argos.co.uk/static/Product/partNumber/2193829.htm

The 'enlarged' image is pretty much actual size.  I can't imagine anyone seeing such an item and deciding to buy it, and after racking my brains I could not recall ever having seen anyone wearing such an item.  Presumably there must be a market for it though or it wouldn't be on sale.

Just wondered if anyone had actually seen someone wearing something like this?

nah..that's way too classy for any girls from Glasgow ;) But they do love their Argos jewelery so I am sure some of them are saving up their dole money for it right now.

Look around the shopping centers in Manchester, you'll see loads of women/girls wearing them!

Horrible things!

I have to agree the Ragdoll pendant is pretty dire.

However the clown with his amazing technicoloured (er)coat is another matter completely........

Wonder if I can pay through Neteller??

Very nice piece if jewellery, although I am in the opening stages of a flu war that is about to invade my immune system for the next week, I can feel the weakness settling in already.  My judgement is slightly off at the moment  :D

ah - I've never been to Manchester so maybe that's why I've not seen them being modelled!

The waistcoat reminded me of Adam Ant...May be they're preparing us for a comeback with the aid of subliminal advertising.
